Create a Return on Rent

The interface consists of Header (1), Return from (2), Return to (3), Document Data (4), Lines (5), Description and Note (6), and Configuration of how to add lines (7):

Header (1)

In the Header (1) you see the name of the document you are creating and two buttons to Confirm and Cancel the Rental/Consignment Return.

Return from (2)

In the Return from (2) field, you specify which counterparty and under which of its contracts you are creating a Return from Rent/Consignment. Note that you can only return items that have been given to the counterparty in a Rent/Consignment transaction and are available under a specific contract. The system will not allow you to save the transaction if you select items that are not available with the selected counterparty and contract.

Return to (3)

In the Return to field (3) you specify to which warehouse you want the selected items to be returned from rental/consignment.

If you are the MOL of the selected warehouse, you are presented with a “Create Next Operation” option. If you put a check on “Create Next Transaction”, by confirming the Return from Rental/Consignment, the system will generate a Warehouse Entry that will put the item into the warehouse.
